LGBTQ+ Ceremonies by Hudson Valley Officiants

Love is Love, need we say anything more!

Before marriage equality, Hudson Valley Officiants, had been officiating same sex civil unions before legally recognized. We have close ties to the LGBTQ+ community and believe that when we find that special person, whether gay, straight, purple, green or orange, it becomes very clear that marriage is not about religion or laws, and marriage does not discriminate. When we fall in love, we fall in love period! And no religion, law, family tradition, or politician can tell our heart or mind, what is right or wrong!

Composing a separate LGBTQ+ page was something we had a bit of a hard time doing. We kept asking "if everyone are equal, why do we need a separate LGBTQ page"?? After all, marriage equality was passed so ultimately the term "Partner" would be gone and the terms "Wife" or "Husband" would apply to all. So, this page is more of a statement of support and not a list of "different" services. All our elopement & marriage ceremony packages listed on the other pages apply to all.

And remember, a marriage license will not change the daily actions of any couple. However, a marriage license, especially for the LGBTQ+ community, will recognize and legally protect their freedom to love, have a family and be exactly who they are and have always been.
